From data to value
Welcome to the team, Thomas! We are delighted to have you at FROX since July 2026. Tell us a little more about yourself and your previous experience!
What is your position at FROX, and what are your responsibilities?
I’ve joined the team as a ServiceNow Solution Consultant and, as Lead ITOM Advisor, I support the strategic development and expansion of our ITOM and CSDM practice. My work is about making complex IT landscapes easier to understand and helping companies turn their technical data into real business value. A particular focus is on the CMDB as a foundation for transparency, resilience, and informed decision-making. At the same time, I develop standardized service offerings for the Swiss market and support customers from strategy through successful implementation.
Where did you work before? What experience do you bring to the table?
Before joining FROX, I spent four years at DXC Technology as a Senior Solution Consultant. During that time, I supported numerous enterprise projects involving ServiceNow, CMDB, and ITOM, ranging from security-critical public-sector environments and the Swiss Armed Forces to Swiss industrial and service companies.
My time working in my family’s own business also had a strong influence on me. That’s where I learned from the ground up what entrepreneurial thinking means, how to connect the technical side of IT directly with business requirements, and that, ultimately, practical value for the business is what matters most.
Why did you choose FROX, and what are your goals?
Joining FROX was a conscious decision to be closer to customers, benefit from shorter decision-making processes, and have the opportunity to actively shape topics from strategy through implementation. FROX has a strong culture and has already established successful structures. My goal is to move ITOM and CSDM beyond being seen as purely technical disciplines. I want to help shape the Swiss market with clear, pragmatic ITOM standards and contribute to enabling companies to generate measurable value from ITOM and CSDM.
What do you like most about your job?
What appeals to me most is turning complexity into clarity. I find it fascinating to understand complex IT landscapes that have evolved over many years, bring structure to them, and give customers that immediate “aha” moment. When a confusing data graveyard suddenly becomes a functioning system that eliminates unplanned work and noticeably makes teams’ day-to-day work easier, that’s extremely rewarding.
We’d also like to learn a little about you as a person. What inspires you outside of work? How do you find balance?
I find the best balance to digital complexity by getting outdoors and staying active. Whether I’m biking, hiking in the mountains, or out on the water on a stand-up paddleboard in the summer, nature is the best place for me to clear my head and recharge. Music also plays a big part in my everyday life, whether I’m unwinding, dancing along, or simply enjoying it in the background. When I’m in the mood for something quieter, I enjoy picking up a good book, whether it’s a gripping crime novel, immersive fantasy, or inspiring professional literature.
