Artificial intelligence at the center of the conference
From 7 to 9 May 2024, industry experts, managers, and technology enthusiasts gathered to discuss the latest developments and innovations relating to ServiceNow. The dominant theme of the conference was undoubtedly artificial intelligence (AI). Bill McDermott, CEO of ServiceNow, emphasized in his keynote how ServiceNow is integrating AI into every corner to increase productivity and drive continuous innovation. Some exciting news included:
- Bring Your Own GenAI Model for Now Assist: Users can bring their own generative AI models into Now Assist.
- Now Assist for SPM: Specialized AI support for Strategic Portfolio Management from ServiceNow.
- Knowledge Article Generation for Now Assist ITSM, CSM and HRSD: Automated creation of knowledge articles for various ServiceNow modules.
Important new ServiceNow partnerships
Another highlight of the conference was the announcement of new strategic partnerships for ServiceNow, including
- Microsoft: Partnering with Mircosoft to integrate ServiceNow Now Assist and Microsoft Copilot, making it easier than ever to offer employees more flexibility and choice and improve the employee experience.
- Genesys: The integration of the Genesys cloud platform with Customer Service Management from ServiceNow delivers a turnkey, AI-powered solution for customer service and support in the contact center and beyond. This is designed to take the customer and employee experience to a new level.
- NVIDIA: ServiceNow uses the NVIDIA Cloud Engine, LLM, and animation technologies to create digital characters based on AI. These innovative AI avatars provide a more engaging, personalized employee and customer experience when interacting visually with virtual agents.
