Commitment to more sustainable corporate mobility
The Noser Group is one of the first companies to join the new Switzerland-wide MoveSmart initiative. MoveSmart was officially launched in Bern on January 26, 2026, and sets a national standard for more sustainable corporate mobility.
The initiative supports organizations in developing the mobility of their employees in a targeted manner, both in terms of business travel and daily commuting. Participating companies commit to implementing concrete measures within a specified period of time to reduce CO₂ emissions and continuously improve their mobility management. Progress is made transparent via a three-stage labeling system.
Even before the official launch, 13 companies with a total of over 100,000 employees have signed the MoveSmart charter. The Noser Group and its companies AKROS, Bucher + Suter, DANEXiS, FROX, Noser Engineering, and Noser Young are among the early participants in the initiative. MoveSmart is supported by Pro Velo Switzerland, the VCS Verkehrs-Club der Schweiz, and the Verband öffentlicher Verkehr VöV (official press release).

More sustainable mobility as part of corporate responsibility
Mobility accounts for around one third of CO₂ emissions in Switzerland. For the Noser Group, it is therefore a key starting point for effectively fulfilling its environmental responsibility. As a technology-driven group of companies with over 730 employees in Switzerland and internationally, it focuses on conscious, transparent, and measurable measures.
Herbert Ender, CEO of the Noser Group, emphasizes: “Sustainable mobility for our employees in a professional context is a key lever for us in reducing CO₂ emissions. With MoveSmart, we want to promote independent, climate-friendly mobility decisions and thus motivate our employees.”
By signing the MoveSmart charter, the Noser Group is committing itself to systematically promoting sustainable forms of mobility, specifically strengthening suitable modes of transport, and continuously developing the progress achieved.
Existing measures within the Noser Group
As an employer, the Noser Group already focuses on
- promoting low-carbon commuting routes,
- creating suitable conditions for sustainable mobility,
- targeted incentives,
- education and personal responsibility, and
- motivation for sustainable behavior in everyday working life and beyond.
It deliberately refrains from paternalism or rigid guidelines on individual mobility choices. Nor does it focus on short-term individual actions with no measurable effect. Instead, the Noser Group pursues a long-term, consistent approach that is supported by its employees.
At the same time, the group benefits from the exchange of knowledge within the MoveSmart initiative and from clear, practical framework conditions that enable it to continuously advance its commitment.
Part of a nationwide movement
MoveSmart aims to establish sustainable corporate mobility as the norm in Switzerland. Over the next three years, the initiative hopes to attract at least 500 more companies. The Noser Group actively supports this goal and sees its commitment as a contribution to long-term corporate responsibility towards its employees, society, and the environment.
