System diversity as a challenge
The Swiss company Curaden sells its dental products worldwide, using B2C shops, among other channels. With over 50 national subsidiaries using their own ERP and CRM systems, this resulted in a highly complex system landscape, including interface structures that made it difficult to obtain an up-to-date overview of actual and planned sales. The result: high coordination effort, limited transparency, and data consolidation that tied up time and resources. For precise budget tracking and production planning, there was no central, up-to-date view of all transactions.
Transaction Hub as a central hub
With the Transaction Hub, Curaden has created a central data exchange platform that automatically and standardizedly distributes data between its own and partner systems worldwide. Orders from B2B and B2C shops are automatically transmitted to the respective ERP systems and additionally synchronized with the CRM systems.
The decisive added value lies not only in integration, but also in the intelligent orchestration of data streams. Mapping functionalities harmonize different data structures, while built-in validation mechanisms ensure data sovereignty and prevent inconsistencies. At the same time, structured exception handling ensures that erroneous transactions can be corrected transparently.
The solution was technically realized FROX based on the Axon Ivy process automation platform. The combination of flexible integration architecture and powerful process automation makes it possible to efficiently connect new systems and sales partners without further increasing complexity.
